InnerVision and Security Support Technician

Location: Markham, ON

Based out of head-office and reporting to the Director of Service & Technical Support, the successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and managing our InnerVision remote servicing system(s) and explaining our modality related network, computer and cyber security related technical questions for CMSCA clients.

Major Responsibilities

  • Setup, test, and maintain the hardware and software required for the InnerVision system. 
  • Prestaging and installing computers, routers and related hardware.
  • Updating or repairing existing systems.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues Installing and configuring software and peripheral equipment.
  • Maintaining and upgrading computer systems.
  • RFP support with network, computer and cyber security modality technical questions.
  • Configuration and troubleshooting IoT client software/agents.
  • Work with customer technical personnel in order to facilitate the installation of IoT monitoring solutions.
  • Adhere at all times to all CMSCA policies, including environmental, health and safety, and confidentiality policies in their entirety.

Qualifications

  • 3-year college program in Electronics / Computer Studies.
  • 4 years working experience deploying network and computer devices.
  • Previous experience with IoT solutions.
  • Previous experience with Windows IoT A good knowledge of network security.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN deployment and troubleshooting.
  • The required knowledge to configure PC’s for use with the IOT.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
