Fully automatic non-contact Tonometer & Pachymeter

Fully automatic non-contact tonometer and pachymeter

Two in one - the tonometer combined with the pachymeter in a single instrument.

Information about the actual corneal thickness is important. Without it, accurate readings of the intraocular pressure (IOP) can be masked and diagnosis of glaucoma delayed. Unless taken into account, thicker corneas contribute to an overestimation of the IOP values, and thinner corneas to an underestimation.

With a simple push of the button, an examination will be fully conducted automatically on both eyes – from alignment to printing.

Compensated IOP

Knowing the central corneal thickness is very important to calculate the true intraocular pressure: the compensated IOP. The TX-20P will automatically calculate the compensated IOP based on the CCT value.

Reliable results

The TX-20P is equipped with a sophisticated measurement system and provides exceptionally fast and reliable results.

Advanced intelligent 3D alignment

Simply align the device with the pupil, and the automatic operation system takes over and completes a full examination.

Multifunctional joystick

Powered for highly comfortable operations, the main functions are centralized in the joystick, enabling the user to operate the instrument with one hand.

Pachymeter

The central corneal thickness measurement is based on a cross-sectional image of the cornea's slit image.

Extended connectivity

The input patient info is completed by the keyboard/barcode reader. The LAN and RS-232C interfaces provide easy connection to the networks.

Multifunctional switches

Multifunctional switches are located around the screen with a simple and logical function indicator.

Fast built-in printer

An easy drop-in paper loader and an auto cutter are built-in the printer for comprehensive print-outs with relevant data.

Warning images

When a measurement error occurs, a snapshot of the patient’s eye is taken just before the measurement is displayed in order to indicate the possible cause of the error - obstruction by an eyelid or eyelashes.

Limiter function

A safety feature is built-in to prevent any physical contact between the optical head and the patient’s eye.
