NEW  Virtual Lecture Series 2020

The Advanced Imaging Education Centre (www.imagingeducation.ca) is pleased to announce the AIEC Canon Medical Virtual Lecture Series. Offered at no charge, their renowned continuing education programming is available to the medical imaging community virtually each month until October 2020. The lecture series will include a diverse selection of topics focusing on different aspects of imaging. 

Sessions will focus on both the principles and cutting edge innovations of the lecture topic, with rich opportunity for discussion with subspecialty faculty built into each session. Registration links available in the chart below.

Canon Medical Systems is a proud sponsor of the Advanced Imaging and Education Centre. The AIEC is dedicated to providing advanced imaging workshops incorporating computed tomography courses in cardiac, neurological, abdominal and vascular imaging. The AIEC is an initiative of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, University Health Network, Mount Sinai Hospital, Women's College Hospital and the University of Toronto. AIEC offers interactive workstations, scanners and some of the best instructors in the industry to support clinicians in their continued pursuit of imaging excellence. CE courses are designed to provide a focused, comprehensive, and in-depth learning experience. 

Selected highlights of the AIEC courses to be offered include:

  • Small class sizes (maximum 12 students)
  • Individual workstations
  • Advanced visualization software
  • Hands on case manipulation
  • Databank of more than 3000 cases including:
  • CT coronary angiography (64 and 320 row MDCT)
  • PET CT
  • Thoraco-abdominal and peripheral vascular CTA
  • Virtual colonography
