CANON MEDICAL SYSTEMS CANADA is a leading worldwide provider of high-quality diagnostic imaging systems and comprehensive medical solutions looking for highly capable Clinical Applications Specialist –VL/XR to be located in Quebec or Ontario. 

In this position, you will provide customer support through product installations, applications training, software upgrades, phone support and training programs. You will assist in the sales process through product demonstrations and customer interactions to achieve regional and corporate sales/marketing goals. You will be required to maintain knowledge of current trends in interventional radiology, cardiology and neuro interventional radiology.  You will be required to support customers as capabilities of products are developed and released, and support company goals in all interactions with customers and employees. You will represent Canon Medical Systems Canada in a professional manner at all times.

This position collaborates effectively with CMSCA corporate and regional resources to achieve profitable revenue growth with customer satisfaction.

The primary responsibility of the position is to promote the CMSCA range of Vascular and X-ray products, as well as other associated equipment to the designated regions, and provide clinical applications training and support to existing and new customers.

As a member of CMSCA, you will be an integral team player in the promotion of our equipment to hospitals and private institutions.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide product training/applications support for new installations; as well as follow-up support;
  • Provide demonstration support in hospitals, and other medical facilities;
  • Support pre and post-sales activities: presentations, installation, training, demonstrations follow-up and troubleshooting for new and existing customers;
  • Support tradeshow and other marketing activities;
  • Active participation in product training for internal and external parties;
  • Creation/modification of customer facing training manuals and user guides;
  • Support in the creation of customer facing presentations;
  • Provide and maintain documentation to support customer training and business unit requirements;
  • Support RFP commercial responses;
  • Communicate regularly with local, modality and management teams;
  • Utilizes product knowledge to effectively position features and capabilities that represent solutions to customer needs; 
  • Keep up to date with new products/developments and competitive knowledge;
  • Provide feedback to Sales, Service, and Product Management on equipment issues and customer concerns via written and verbal communication;
  • Provide on-going support to resolve application related and image quality concerns on both a product and system level.
  • Adhere at all times to all CMSCA policies, including environmental, health and safety, and confidentiality policies in their entirety.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 years of Interventional Radiology or Cardiology clinical experience as a registered technologist in a hospital environment;
  • Minimum 5 years of Fluoroscopy, OR and Portable X-ray experience as a registered technologist in a hospital environment;
  • Previous Clinical Applications experience is an asset, but not a requirement;
  • MRT(R) and currently registered with CAMRT and/or provincial organization such as OTIMROEMPQ;
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in Fluoroscopy and Vascular X-Ray imaging;
  • Must possess strong communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • National coverage - may require 50% travel;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team;
  • Appropriately displays professional skills necessary to manage interpersonal relationships with team members, customers and other colleagues;
  • Works in a well-organized manner French language is an asset.
