In this position, you will provide customer support through product installations, applications training, software upgrades, phone support and training programs. You will assist in the sales process through product demonstrations and customer interactions to achieve regional and corporate sales/marketing goals. You will be required to maintain knowledge of current trends in interventional radiology, cardiology and neuro interventional radiology.  You will be required to support customers as capabilities of products are developed and released, and support company goals in all interactions with customers and employees. You will represent Canon Medical Systems Canada in a professional manner at all times.

This position collaborates effectively with CMSCA corporate and regional resources to achieve profitable revenue growth with customer satisfaction.

The primary responsibility of the position is to promote the CMSCA range of Vascular and other associated equipment to the designated regions, and provide clinical applications training and support to existing and new customers.

As a member of CMSCA, you will be an integral team player in the promotion of our equipment to hospitals and private institutions. 

Major Responsibilities

  • Provides product training/applications support for new installations; as well as follow-up support.
  • Provides demonstration support in hospitals, and other medical facilities.
  • Supports pre and post-sales activities: presentations, installation, training, demonstrations follow-up and troubleshooting for new and existing customers.
  • Supports tradeshow and other marketing activities.
  • Actively participates in product training for internal and external parties.
  • Creates/modifies of customer facing training manuals and user guides.
  • Supports in the creation of customer facing presentations.
  • Provides and maintain documentation to support customer training and business unit requirements.
  • Supports RFP commercial responses.
  • Communicates regularly with local, modality and management teams.
  • Utilizes product knowledge to effectively position features and capabilities that represent solutions to customer needs.
  • Keeps up to date with new products/developments and competitive knowledge.
  • Offers feedback to Sales, Service, and Product Management on equipment issues and customer concerns via written and verbal communication.
  • Provides on-going support to resolve application related and image quality concerns on both a product and system level.
  • Adheres at all times to all CMSCA policies, including environmental, health and safety, and confidentiality policies in their entirety.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Interventional Radiology or Cardiology clinical experience as a registered technologist in a hospital environment. Previous Clinical Applications experience an asset.
  • MRT (R) and currently registered with CAMRT and/or provincial organization.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in Vascular X-Ray imaging.
  • CT experience is an asset.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • National coverage - may require more than 50% travel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Appropriately displays professional skills necessary to manage interpersonal relationships with team members, customers and other colleagues.
  • Works in a well-organized manner.
  • French language is an asset.
