The Aplio 500 CV and 300 CV are premier systems for all 2D cardiovascular exams. The systems feature Toshiba’s 2D Wall Motion Tracking technology, providing exceptional visualization and quantitative analysis of myocardial wall motion with unrivaled accuracy and reproducibility.
Through the use of on-board cardiac quantification measurements in all directions (radial, circumferential, 2D rotation and longitudinal), Toshiba’s Aplio CV systems are designed to provide comprehensive information at the patient’s bedside.
Lunch & Learn Sessions were hosted by three presenters discussing their experiences using Toshiba’s cardiovascular ultrasound systems:
In Canada, a series of Echocardiography Seminars were held earlier in Toronto and Ottawa on June 7th and 8th. The seminars were hosted by Dr. Bijoy Khandheria from Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Khandheria presented a review of technological advances in “Cardio oncology-established and the emerging role of speckle tracking” while using Toshiba’s CV Ultrasound system and 2D Wall Motion Tracking. Seminar participants experienced a live demonstration of on-board cardiac quantification measurements in all directions (radial, circumferential, 2D rotation and longitudinal). The seminar was well received with favourable assessments of the performance of the Aplio CV systems with respect to imaging quality, ergonomics, patient access and workflow.
“Toshiba’s cardiovascular ultrasound systems provide the industry’s highest-resolution images with the ability to deliver crucial clinical data in real time,” said Tomohiro Hasegawa, director, Ultrasound Business Unit, Toshiba.
