New Product Introductions at RSNA
CHICAGO, Dec. 3, 2014 –Toshiba showcased many new systems at RSNA this year. The product showcase reinforced Toshiba Group's overall commitment to foster clinical excellence with more effective diagnoses and treatments. Toshiba's multimodality approach to innovation in patient care included the rollout of the following products:
InfinixTM 4DCT system (Pending Health Canada clearance): Challenges the status quo in minimally invasive care by seamlessly integrating CT and IR into one solution.
AplioTM 300, 400, 500 Platinum Series ultrasound systems (Pending Health Canada clearance): Provides a wide range of powerful imaging and interventional tools to expand the clinical applications of ultrasound and standardize care. Among these features are Shear Wave Elastography on the Aplio 500 Platinum, a new tool to non-invasively measure tissue stiffness of the liver and potentially reduce expensive biopsies, and Superb Micro-Vascular Imaging (SMI) to enable capture of low-velocity blood flow without the need for contrast agents or more invasive modalities.
CelesteionTM PET/CT system (Pending Health Canada clearance):Combines high-performance PET and CT for all radiation oncology imaging needs and delivers a more comfortable exam with the industry's largest bore.
