Dr. Luís S. Guimarães is Staff Abdominal Radiologist at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, Mount Sinai Hospital, University Health Network and Women's College Hospital. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. Dr. Guimarães received his PhD from Oporto Medical School and his Board certification in Radiology from the Portuguese Board of Radiology. He has authored over 15 peer reviewed scientific articles and delivered over 70 national and international scientific presentations with key interests in Small Bowel Imaging, CT Radiation Dose Reduction, Dual Energy CT and Hepatobiliary MRI. His clinical practice and interests focus on Body CT, Body MR, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Emergency Radiology. He has served on the Abdominal and Gastrointestinal Scientific Subcommittee for ECR from 2013 to 2015 and Abstracts and Scientific Communications reviewing panel for ESGAR from 2012 to 2016.
