Dr. Daniel J. Podberesky – Nemours Children's Health System, Florida, USA

Dr. Daniel J. Podberesky, is Radiologist-in-Chief of the Nemours Children's Health System and Chair of the Department of Radiology at Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Podberesky obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Maryland, and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium as an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force. After completing a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Dr. Podberesky served as Chief of Pediatric Radiology at Wilford Hall Medical Center, the U.S. Air Force's flagship tertiary care medical facility. Dr. Podberesky returned to Cincinnati Children's Hospital as Chief of Body CT in July 2008. He helped create the Division of Thoracoabdominal Imaging, and became its Chief in 2009. In 2014, Dr. Podberesky was appointed Radiologist-in-Chief of Radiology for Nemours Children's Health System based at Nemours Children's Hospital in Lake Nona. Dr. Podberesky overseees pediatric radiology at the system's hospitals in five states, leading an integrated radiology department that has 27 pediatric radiologists, one of the largest pediatric radiology faculties in the nation. Dr. Podberesky also serves as the Chair of Radiology at Nemours Children's Hospital. Dr. Podberesky has authored numerous book chapters and 50 peer-reviewed articles in professional journals. He has served on several national organization committees including the American Board of Radiology Maintenance of Certification Pediatric Exam Committee, the American College of Radiology Expert Panel on Pediatric Imaging, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Society for Pediatric Radiology and the Chairman of the Society's Abdominal Imaging Committee. Dr. Podberesky's interests are advanced pediatric body and cardiovascular imaging.
