Initial Experience Using 160 Slice CT Technology
Dr. Mark Kon – Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS, UK
Dr. Mark Kon graduated from Kings College London and trained in cardiac surgery before turning to Radiology. Since 2004 he has been a Consultant Radiologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals. Further training with the Cardiovascular Medical Group in Los Angeles led to his specialized interest and involvement in Cardiac CT scanning in 2006. In addition Dr. Kon specializes in general interventional procedures using CT, ultrasound and interventional thoracic radiology. He is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular CT and also the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. Dr. Kon has successfully introduced the Cardiac CT service in Bradford, where it plays a pivotal role in the early assessment of patients with chest pain.
