Regional Service Manager (Quebec Region)

Canon Medical Systems Canada (CMSCA) is a leading worldwide provider of high-quality diagnostic imaging systems and comprehensive medical solutions. We are looking for highly capable Regional Service Manager located in the Greater Montreal Area covering Quebec and Eastern Ontario, as well as other locations as needed. 

Based out of your home office and reporting to the Director of Service, the successful candidate will be responsible for service delivery and project management related to installing, maintaining and servicing our medical diagnostic imaging equipment – Angiography, CT, X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound, and Healthcare Informatics.

Major Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery Management and Project Management in the Quebec and Eastern Ontario regions for medical imaging equipment; 
  • Management of Field Service Representatives to achieve desired service levels; 
  • Customer relationship management as it relates to Service Delivery; 
  • Installation Project Management, Service Administration, Resource scheduling, and development; 
  • Service Request processing; 
  • Site assessment and planning and preparing quotations / SOWs for equipment installation and moves and T&M service; 
  • Budget preparation, service revenue and metrics achievement, SOP compliance and audit, assessing skill levels, determining tools and test equipment requirements and controlling expenses; 
  • Working in a partnership role with the sales team in the assigned areas;
  • Adhere at all times to all CMSCA policies, including environmental, health and safety, and confidentiality policies in their entirety;
  • Other duties as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Service manager with experience managing field service delivery in a medical diagnostic imaging organization;
  • 5 - 10 years field service experience with medical diagnostic imaging equipment, and at least 3 years as a supervisor/manager; 
  • Diploma or degree in Electronics or Biomedical Electronics with strong management, technical, interpersonal and communication skills; 
  • Bilingual – written and oral fluency in French and English is required;
  • Post graduate education in Business Management is an asset;
  • Candidates without supervisory experience will be considered; 
  • Ideally, potential candidates should be located in the Greater Montreal Area; 
  • Alternate locations will be considered.
