National Technical Support - InnerVision and Healthcare Informatics (HII)

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually

Based out of head-office and reporting to the Director of Service & Technical Support, the successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and managing our InnerVision remote servicing system(s), as well as explaining the modality related network, computer and cyber security related technical questions to Canon Medical Systems Canada (CMSCA) clients, and supporting the deployment of our Healthcare Informatics software applications.

Major Responsibilities

  • Setup, test, and maintain the hardware and software required for the InnerVision and HII systems; 
  • Prestage and install computers, routers and related hardware; 
  • Update and repair existing systems; 
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues; 
  • Install and configure software and peripheral equipment; 
  • Maintain and upgrade computer systems; 
  • Answer Request for Proposal (RFP) questions in relation to modality-specific computer/server, networking, and cybersecurity;
  • Configure and troubleshoot IoT client software/agents; 
  • Work with customer technical personnel to facilitate the installation of IoT monitoring solutions; 
  • Prestage various HII solutions, offer remote installation support, setup solutions in customer environment and ensure that the solutions are fully operational; 
  • Support software/hardware upgrades; 
  • Adhere at all times to all CMSCA policies, including environmental, health and safety, and confidentiality policies in their entirety.

Position Requirements

  • 3-year college program in Electronics / Computer Studies; 
  • Minimum of 4 years experience deploying network and computer devices; 
  • Proficient with IoT solutions and Windows IoT; 
  • Solid knowledge of network security; 
  • Experience with LAN/WAN deployment and troubleshooting; 
  • Essential knowledge to configure personal computers for use with the IoT; 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; 
  • A valid driver’s license.
