Salary range : $100,000 - $105,000 annually

Based out of your home office and reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Field Service Representative (FSR) will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing our medical diagnostic imaging equipment – X-Ray, CT, Angiography, MRI and Ultrasound modalities.

Major Responsibilities

  • Install Canon Medical Systems Canada Limited (CMSCA) diagnostic imaging equipment according to standards, while adhering to tight deadlines and ensuring full functionality as per specifications;
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and evaluation of diagnostic imaging equipment; 
  • Calibrate and repair diagnostic imaging equipment in accordance with guidelines and quality standards;
  • Communicate and maintain accurate service records and field service reports;
  • Travel within the province of Saskatchewan and internationally, as required;
  • Assist in testing electrical and electronic components, equipment, as well as systems; 
  • Assist in inspecting, testing, adjusting and evaluating incoming electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic components/assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances;
  • Install, operate and maintain electrical, electronic equipment and systems;
  • Collect and compile operational data, and help prepare estimates, schedules, specifications and reports;
  • Adhere at all times to all CMSCA policies, including environmental, health and safety, and confidentiality policies in their entirety.

Position Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in electronic or biomedical engineering technology; 
  • Minimum of 4 years maintaining, installing and repairing diagnostic imaging equipment such as X Ray, CT, Angiography, MRI and Ultrasound systems;
  • Experience using diagnostic imaging equipment testing tools;
  • Strong customer relations and communication skills;
  • Solid installation and equipment servicing expertise; 
  • Team-oriented; 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Able to travel extensively; 
  • Available to be on call;
  • Capable to work overtime.
