In 2025, MIC Medical Imaging (MIC) selected Canon as a partner after a rigorous evaluation process. A meaningful partnership was initiated, and Canon’s innovative technologies were introduced to healthcare physicians and radiologists at MIC. Providing exceptional diagnostic imaging for patients was central to the decision. MIC describes the process and key decision-making criteria towards Canon Medical Systems Canada, followed by the seamless transition to their new Canon Aplio ultrasound equipment.

With the most sub-specialized radiologists in Western Canada, MIC provides expert-level diagnostic imaging services through 15 community-based clinics and supports 17 local hospitals and health centres.
