Canon Medical Systems Canada (CMSCA), a leading worldwide provider of high-quality diagnostic imaging systems and comprehensive medical solutions is looking for highly capable Regional Service Manager to be located in the Greater Toronto Area in order to service healthcare customers in the GTA and GHA, as well as other locations, as needed from time to time.

Based out of their home office and reporting to the Director of Service, the successful candidate will be responsible for Service Delivery, Installation, and Site Management activities for our medical diagnostic imaging equipment – Angiography, CT, X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound, and Healthcare Informatics.

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage service delivery for medical imaging equipment across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTA/GHA);
  • Manage Field Service Representatives to achieve established service-level objectives;
  • Maintain effective customer relationships as it relates to service delivery;
  • Oversee equipment installations, site activities, and project management;
  • Manage service administration, resource scheduling, and development;
  • Process and coordinate service requests;
  • Conduct site assessments and develop installation plans;
  • Prepare quotations and Statements of Work (SOWs) for equipment relocations and time-and-materials (T&M) services;
  • Prepare budgets and achieve service revenue and performance-metric targets;
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), audits, and company policies;
  • Assess employee skill levels and determine tool and test-equipment requirements;
  • Monitor and control operating expenses;
  • Work in partnership with the sales team in the assigned area(s) to further sales of our products;
  • Comply fully with all CMSCA policies, including environmental, health and safety, and confidentiality requirements;
  • Perform other duties as required.

Position Requirements

  • Experience managing field service delivery for a medical diagnostic imaging equipment supplier;
  • Five to ten years of field service experience with medical diagnostic imaging equipment, including at least three years in a supervisory or management role;
  • A related degree or diploma, along with strong management, technical, interpersonal, and communication skills;
  • Candidates without previous supervisory experience may also be considered;
  • Ideally, candidates will be located in the GTA or surrounding suburbs; alternate locations may be considered;
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region(s) as required;
  • Ability to work effectively from a home-office environment.
